Art has been an important part of my life since I was a young child. I grew up drawing and painting on anything I could get my hands on in my childhood home. I painted my first mural when I was 12 years old and have been passionate about drawing and painting ever since. I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design and graduated with a degree in Illustration in 1999. After college I worked as a graphic designer and a free lance artist for 4 years. Since 2002 I have been teaching middle and high school art in Prince William County Schools in Virginia. While teaching, I have participated in local art shows and continue to do freelance work. I have painted murals in commercial and residential spaces. I am excited to have the opportunity grow my free-lance career in Northern Virginia.
